Armour lip gloss: rock and roll meets high fashion

Retrodiva's Beauty 7 Seven Days of Lips

I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a huge lip gloss fan. Usually I’m just bitterly disappointed at the lack of color, no matter what shade I purchase. However, more and more companies are coming out with heavily pigmented gloss, and it’s definitely bringing something to the table.

Armour Lip Gloss was a Makeup Show find. I had never heard of the company before, although several of my blogger friends had, and were eager to snatch a few shades up, so I figured I’d better head over to their display and see what’s what. All in the interest of research, mind you.

According to their information, Armour Beauty is where high end fashion meets rock and roll: “made with moisturizing and healing ingredients, Armour Lip Gloss is long-wearing and cruelty-free and comes in a variety of couture colors.”

I got my hands on a shade called Dreaming:

It’s a gloss, so you’re going to be reapplying it often. ┬áThe color payoff is halfway decent, although in retrospect, I probably should have gone with a darker color. Lots of shine, and it’s not overly sticky. It has a typical sponge/wand applicator that is easy to use.

Check it out at ArmourBeauty.com. Each gloss retails for $19.
