I was not familiar with the Diptyque brand until I visited Aedes De Venustas in New York City and had a chance to really experience some of what they had to offer, and it was magic, just as I thought it would be.
Diptyque has been difficult to get your hands on here on this side of the pond, but now instead of hoping one of the bigger department stores carries the fragrance you want, or hoping against hope you have the chance to pop into Aedes De Venustas when you’re in the city, you were pretty much out of luck. Those people like me, who live in a remote outpost didn’t have a chance. But now you can browse the entire line at the new Diptyque e-commerce site.
While you are there, be sure to check out their new offering, Vetyverio, which plays with the contrasts of vetiver and rose and ends up being almost masculine, but not quite. 50 mL is $88 and 100 mL for $120.
