At the premiere for the new show Ken – The Search for the Great American Boyfriend, Whitney Port looked radiant with her bright lips and strong eyes. Celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine used Tarte products, and says the premiere was the perfect occasion to try hot pink lips-not only paying homage to Barbie, but it’s also a big upcoming trend that was seen all over the Spring 2011 Runways.
On her cheeks, Nadine says, ”For a soft glow, I accented Whitney’s cheek bones with a light pink shade,” and used Tarte Amazonian Clay Long-Wear Blush in Dollface.
Regarding her lips, Nadine tells us that ”This look is all about the bright hot pink lip. It’s such a fun way to really make a statement and by opting for tarte’s LipSurgence™, it’s more modern and fresh.” She used Tarte’s
LipSurgence Natural Matte Lip Stain in lively, a hot pink shade.
“To compliment the lip, I drew a thick line across her upper lashline with tarte’s indigo blue liner instead of the typical black. Then I coated her lashes twice.” She used smolderEYES in indigo. I love these pencils, and will be posting a review of them very soon. They do an amazing strong or smudgy smoky eye.
Other products Nadine used to create the look were:
- smooth operator Foundation SPF 20, Agent 08
- smooth operator Micronized Clay Finishing Powder, Translucent White
- mineral powder Bronzer, Park Ave Princess
- emphasEYES High Definition Brow Pencil in Taupe
- multiplEYE natural lash enhancing mascara in Black
