In my world, hairspray is a staple. Used every day to help control frizz, create and hold an updo, and to help create volume and texture. Some are better than others, and some work for certain styles but not others.
L’Oreal Professionnel Texture Expert Infinium is an all-around helpful tool for those with thick, unruly, coarse and curly hair. The micro-mist sprays evenly, and when applied properly, the spray will even last through a brushing. The micro-polymers help protect the hair from the elements.
Overall, it’s an excellent spray – it works exactly like it’s supposed to, and the spray is fine and even. It holds well, even a complicated updo.
However, while using it, I kept thinking that the scent and hold reminded me of another product that I already had and used quite often. It took me a short time to figure it out, but eventually it all fell into place. It had the same scent, the same workability as another one of my favorite hairsprays, and it cost twice as much as the one I was already using:
Yes, my trusty can of L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray. I can’t be completely sure, but it seems as if it is exactly the same product, only Elnett costs significantly less.
