I don’t know what the weather is like where you live, but here in Virginia Beach, it’s hot. As in, I walk outside and my face melts off. I shouldn’t complain, really, it’s not as if I haven’t lived in places that are far hotter for far longer, but complaining is a specialty of mine, and I don’t want to disappoint.
I’ve always been a fan of tinted moisturizers, but the new Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint Release Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Moisturizer SPF 15 is my new absolute favorite. It actually comes out of the tube white, but blends into a perfect light tint as you apply it to skin. It’s lightly scented, and it smells of melon to me, although it’s not overpowering, nor does it linger.
Most importantly, it gives you a SPF of 15, and doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on your face. I apply this after cleansing, and then apply a concealer to a few trouble spots afterwards if needed. But I don’t need further foundation, just a dusting of a translucent powder and a touch of bronzer on my cheeks, a swipe of mascara, and I’m done.
Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint Release Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Moisturizer SPF 15 is available at Nordstrom for $43.
