Can e.l.f.’s $2 nail polish be as good as a more expensive brand?

e.l.f. mint cream nail polishYes, more on the inexpensive makeup! I can’t help it – I’m obsessed with a good deal these days. Is it just me or is the economy just not getting any better? While I stress about my retirement, I have been scoping out all the deals and sales, and picked up a batch of e.l.f. makeup during a Total Beauty deal. I had never tried the polishes before, so I ended up with two bottles, totaling a whopping $4, plus my discount. They might as well have given them to me.

Overall, I thought the e.l.f. Mint Cream polish applied really well. I needed two coats, but that’s nothing unusual. I don’t tend to apply heavy coats, because I’m so impatient when it comes to drying time. The wear was what I have experienced with almost all polishes, but I’m hard on my nails, and I don’t get more than three or four days out of any given manicure.

Find e.l.f. polish on their website, and I have also occasionally seen a selection of e.l.f. cosmetics at Target. Grab a few – I promise you’ll be impressed at this little $2 nail polish.
