Cynthia Rowley’s makeup look for her Spring/Summer 2012 show was all about sporty, glowing, and just a bit masculine. Key artist Lottie focused on a strong brow and bare lips. The makeup combined with the hair all pointed to an almost sweaty look. In fact, more than once I heard the look described as the “New York City girl who hasn’t washed her hair in a few days, and is running around the city pushing her hair back away from her face.” Interesting, no? More to come on the hair, but for now, here are the details on the makeup looks:
- Cheeks: Lottie first applied MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation to give the models a flawless canvas, and then added a slight contour using MAKE UP FOR EVER Eye Shadows in #76 and #98. She then illuminated the complexion using MAKE UP FOR EVER Uplight #12 along with MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Powder #902 and #974. To give the skin a dewy, glistening finish, she sprayed the face with MAKE UP FOR EVER Sweat Effects Gel.
- Eyes: Lottie lowered the brows by creating a shadow beneath them using MAKE UP FOR EVER Eye Shadow #17 or #98 depending on skin tone. The lids were kept simple and nude looking. She finished the eyes with a thick coat of MAKE UP FOR EVER Smoky Lash Mascara in #1 black and #3 in brown.
- Lips: The lips were bare with just a hint of MAKE UP FOR EVER Moisturizing Lip Balm.
