Mascara is life. If I were stranded on a desert island and only had one beauty product, I do hope it’s an excellent tube of mascara. It’s the one thing I will always put on, even if I don’t do anything else to my face. Mascara helps make eyes pop, and when you find the right formula that works for you, you hang on to it with everything you’ve got.
Because I love volume so much, I always gravitate to the mascaras that are going to give me tons of volume. I mean, I want my lashes to look as good as they do when I wear falsies. And while that may be completely unobtainable, I will continue trying until I am too old to care about mascara anymore. Too Faced Lash Injection gives me medium to high drama volume – it increases with each coat – and I reach for it a good deal.
Like most volumizing mascaras, this one has a big and rather fluffy brush. I’ve heard it said that the bigger the brush, the bigger the lashes, and I have so far found this to be true. The black is rich and deep, getting dangerously close to a true inky black. This is a go-to mascara when I am doing a dark smokey eye, because it compliments dark shadows (black, gray) so well.
Too Faced Lash Injection is available at Nordstrom and Sephora as well as several online retailers for about $19.50.
