Glow with Watt’s Up illuminator from Benefit Cosmetics

I recently finished up my bottle of Miss Popularity by Benefit and took myself off to Sephora to get another bottle when I realized that they had put another, better highlighter out there that I just HAD to have. I didn’t miss the launch of Watt’s Up by Benefit, but it had just somehow slipped by me and I never tested it out.

The super cute packaging is meant to resemble the old school packaging of a light bulb. To light you up! Get it? Okay, it’s cute anyway.

Benefit always does a great job with their packaging. And thank goodness they have the product quality to back it up, or it would just end up being disappointing.

The product itself is on one end, and the other end has a sponge that is supposed to help you blend the product in after application.

The champagne color is gorgeous, and will work well on most skin tones, especially warm ones. It doesn’t have large flecks of glitter, so no Ke$ha look (which you know I’m decidedly not a fan of), just a lovely illumination that stands out without being obvious. I apply it to my cupid’s bow, brow bone, and upper cheekbones.

I don’t bother with the sponge. I’m sure it’s a nice sponge, as far as sponges go, but I prefer to use my fingers to blend.

Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up is available at Sephora, which is where I purchased mine. It’s worth the $30 price tag, and something I will continue to rebuy.
