At any given time, you can take a look at my hands and see that my cuticles are just ravaged. Because I polish so much, I try to keep them trimmed, because if I don’t, I’ll pick at them and even worse, bite them. I know, it’s awful. So in the spirit of rehabbing my beauty routine, I decided to give the Sally Hansen Cuticle Eraser a good solid try for a month. Jump ahead to see what my verdict was!

I adore this thick balm. I put it on every night before bed and it has completely changed the condition of my cuticles. I liked it so much that I bought another pot to keep in my purse so that I could apply it during the day. It’s entirely possible that a hand lotion would give me the same results, but I never remember to put a hand lotion on, but every time I nervously go to bite my cuticles, I remember my cuticle eraser.
It keeps them soft and supple so that I don’t notice the jagged edges so much. I know my fellow cuticle biters will know exactly what you mean. However, you do have to be consistent about it – if you stop using it, your cuticles will just go back to their standard raggedy shape. So you have to be committed. I’m just glad that I’m able to show off my nail polish without apologizing for the state of my cuticles. Available at Drugstore.com for $6.40.
