Design partners help JC Penney celebrate their rebranding
Have you noticed those crazy JC Penney commercials on television lately? It has the promise of big things to come, and not to spoil the surprise, but the retail giant is debuting a whole new look.
CEO Ron Johnson and President Michael Francis hosted an event at Pier 57 in NYC on January 25 and invited their new design partners to help them celebrate. Celebs who are working with the new and improved JC Penney include Nanette Lepore, Mary Kate and Ashley Olson, Cindy Crawford, Martha Stewart, and surprise newcomer Ellen Degeneres, who worked at the retailer for her first job.
The event allowed visitors to look at the evolution of JC Penney, from their beginnings to today, including the new designer collaborations.
